It is with great sadness that we must announce the cancelation of the 20th annual Park Hill Garden Walk. The safety and well-being of our gardeners, volunteers, artists, and community members are of utmost importance.
Without fundraisers like the Garden Walk, the community programs brought to you by GPHC will suffer. That’s why we’re bringing you a fun way to support this effort from the comfort of your own home.
Since 2000, the Park Hill community has opened their hearts and their gardens for all to enjoy. Come explore these unique outdoor spaces, meet the gardeners and tap into some ideas for your own garden creations.
As you stroll through the gardens you will get a sense of the personality and interests of the homeowners. You will experience “urban farms” complete with chickens, bee hives, veggies and herbs as well as areas to entertain or just relax. And as water becomes more and more precious, xeric-style yard designs are becoming more popular. These earth-friendly designs are a must see. Pergolas, dining areas and outdoor kitchens are just a few more examples of the design elements you will get to explore.
The Park Hill Garden Walk directly benefits ., a volunteer-based registered neighborhood organization that promotes the character and vibrancy of Park Hill; provides resources, information and advocacy; and preserves quality of life and the history of the neighborhood through community participation.
With the funds raised through this event, GPHC continues to support neighborhood safety and advocacy programs, food assistance programs, community events, and the Greater Park Hill News.
